Chicago International Music Festival
Open to choral & instrumental groups!

World Projects is proud to announce its inaugural Chicago International Music Festival, March 26 - 30, 2011, with adjudicated performances at the Chicago Symphony Hall.

The "Windy City" is well known for its strong performing arts culture, having produced many mainstream music artists and genres as well as being home to one of the nation's oldest and most respected orchestras – the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Deborah Gibbs elected into American Bandmasters Association as an Associate member

Last week in Charleston, our CEO Deborah Lee Gibbs was elected into the prestigious American Bandmasters Association as an associate member. The American Bandmasters Association, founded in 1929, with John Philip Sousa as Honorary Life President, recognizes outstanding achievement on the part of Concert Band conductors and composers.

The current membership (invitational) comprises approximately 300 band conductors and composers in the USA and Canada, and 70 Associate Members (music businesses and corporations that provide significant services to bands and to the publication of band music.) Congratulations Deborah!
