New York “Sounds of Summer” International Music
Festival to be held June 14 - 18, 2014.

Perform
in New York at Carnegie Hall
|
Festival activities will
include an outdoor performance in Central Park
or at Castle Clinton, Battery Park (TBC), a
dinner dance/cruise along the Hudson River,
and a group workshop with a World Projects
Faculty member. The festival culminates with
the ensemble performances in Carnegie Hall. Full

New On Our Shore!
World Projects is pleased to
announce the selection of Jeffrey Boeckman,
Glenn Price and John Alan Carnahan for the
instrumental faculty for our 2014 Pacific Basin
Music Festival.
The University of South Florida
Symphonic Band under the direction of Dr. John
Carmichael and the Concordia University Chicago
Wind Symphony under the direction of Dr. Richard
R. Fischer will be our showcase groups at our
2014 New York Wind Band Festival at Carnegie
Hall.
WASBE
2015 Conference
To be hosted in San Jose, California
World Projects is pleased to
announce, in conjunction with the World
Association for Symphonic Bands and Ensembles
(WASBE), that the 2015 WASBE Conference will be
held in San Jose, California, July 12 – 18,
2015.
Due to its proximity to three international
airports, unique culture, and high-tech
facilities, World Projects truly feels that San
Jose, California, is an ideal location for the

announce two new events in Valencia and
Barcelona, Spain in June, 2014.

Palau
de la Música Valencia

The Valencia “Fiesta de la
Feria” Concert will take place at the
wonderful Palau de la Musica Valencia.
Home of the Valencia Orchestra and Valencia
Banda Muncipal, the Palau de la Musica
Valencia was opened in 1987 and has quickly
become a center of music and culture in
Valencia as well as adding to the wonderful
modern architecture of the city. The
Valencia “Fiesta de la Feria” Concert will
feature instrumental groups from around the
world. The concert is currently
scheduled for June 24, 2014.

Palau
de la Música Catalana

The Barcelona International
Music Festival will be held at the stunning
Palau de la Musica Catalana. Celebrating
its 100th anniversary in 2008, the Palau de la
Musica Catalana is known for its beautiful
exterior and interior design (called Catalan
modernista style), and it hosts many local and
international orchestras and ensembles.
The Barcelona International Music Festival will
feature instrumental groups from around the
world. The festival is currently scheduled
for June 28, 2014. Please contact Deborah
