This year World Projects produced festivals and tours where the following musicians were given the following opportunities:

  • 2,279 young musicians attended workshops with the greatest music educators in the industry
  • 1,442 performed at Carnegie Hall
  • 955 performed in Hawaii and at Disney Concert Hall
  • 884 experienced a custom performance tour in the United States
  • 360 traveled to Europe to perform and visit historical sites
  • 318 performed at John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts
  • 300 performed on the same stage as the Chicago Symphony
  • 282 university musicians perform at the Jungfrau Music Festivals
  • 110 visited and performed in Costa Rica
  • 108 international musicians performed in the United States

Thanksgiving is traditionally a holiday for families and friends to get together for a special meal and to give thanks for what they have.

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade has been the official kick-off of the holiday season for 87 years. Every year this Emmy Award winning tradition is seen by more than 3.5 million people in New York and 50 million people at home, all tuned in to see giant balloons, one-of-a-kind floats, amazing performances by high school bands and much, much more. WASBE 2015 Conference & Fringe Festival
To be hosted in San Jose, California

World Projects is pleased to announce, in conjunction with the World Association for Symphonic Bands and Ensembles (WASBE), that the 2015 WASBE Conference will be held in San Jose, California, July 12 - 18, 2015.

WASBE Conference

The Fringe Festival will be running parallel to the conference, and there will be stages setup throughout downtown San Jose that will feature free wind band, jazz band and chamber ensemble performances. The ensembles will represent the San Jose area, the greater San Francisco Bay area and countries from all around world. Full Article
