World Projects' Composer Competition

The 2014 World Projects Composition Contest is the latest and most exciting opportunity for all active and aspiring composers! We encourage you to submit either a new or pre-existing work. Apply now to ensure that your composition is considered! Click here to access the application form and instructions on how to apply.

Upon submission, your piece will be reviewed by the World Projects Composition Board. This year, World Projects has the privilege of working with esteemed composers and educators Brett Abigaña, John Carnahan, and Johan de Meij.

The two winners of this contest will be announced at the 2014 Midwest Clinic following the World Premiere of Brett Abigaña’s “As the Wood Smoke Rises”, commissioned and premiered by the United States Navy Band.

Register Now for WASBE 2015!

Remember to register for the 2015 WASBE Conference that is taking place in San Jose! You can register at http://wasbe2015.com/registration/ where you can also find out more information about this event. The 2015 WASBE Conference will be taking place in San Jose, California, July 12th – 18th.

The concerts will be held in the stunning California Theatre. In addition, World Projects will be able to offer your group a number of performance opportunities outside of the conference itinerary, including performances at Disneyland for the park guests, Seaport Village in San Diego and AT&T Park in San Francisco for a Major League Baseball game featuring the San Francisco Giants.
