Brett Abigaña

Brett Abigaña’s music has been performed throughout the United States and Europe, including performances on Dutch Public Radio, and his music has been commissioned and performed by numerous performers including violist David Samuel, violinist Carla Leurs, flutist Hilary Abigana, The Destino Winds, ALEA III, The Afiara String Quartet, The Webster Trio, The United States Naval Academy Band, and The United States Army Field Band and Soldiers’ Chorus.

Justin Casinghino

Justin Casinghino composes in a variety of genres, striving to create works that are lyrical, rich in harmony and possess a sound structural integrity. Also a performer in the jazz and popular idioms, this influence is often present in his music, but commonly at subtle levels. His studies of composition include work with, amongst others, Gunther Schuller, Lukas Foss, Theodore Antoniou and Richard Cornell.

Ramon Castillo

Ramon Castillo earned his doctorate in music composition from Boston University where he studied with Lukas Foss, Sam Headrick and Theodore Antoniou. He teaches composition at the Berklee College of Music. Ramon often has a unique approach to musical scoring. He has written for such combinations as clarinet trio with turntable DJ, gamelan with robots and soloists, lyricon with manipulated cheers of frantic Red Sox fans, string trio with drum set, and accordion with robotic glockenspiel.

Heather Gilligan

Heather Gilligan is Assistant Professor of Music at Keene State College in New Hampshire, where she teaches composition and theory and coordinates the Theory and Aural Skills program. An active composer and performer, she has recently written works for the Keene State College Chamber Singers, the Keene State College Concert Band, The Chamber Singers of Keene, The Rivers School’s “Seminar On Contemporary Music For the Young,” Juventas! New Music Ensemble, and Lorelei Ensemble.

Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith is active in Boston’s musical community as a composer, guitarist and educator. His music has been performed throughout the United States in venues such as Boston University’s Tsai Performance Center, Southern Illinois University’s Outside the Box new music festival, the Aspen Composer’s Conference, the University of Central Missouri’s New Music Festival and the Rivers School Conservatory’s Seminar on Contemporary Music for the Young.

Jeremy Van Buskirk

Composer Jeremy Van Buskirk (b. 1973) is a native of Lockport, New York. His early musical training began with piano and saxophone. His musical life changed forever at age 12 when he picked up a bass guitar and discovered his passion for writing and improvising music.

PoChun Wang

PoChun Wang is a composer and educator in the Boston area. She has taught at Interlochen Arts Academy, the University of Massachusetts Lowell, Boston University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She has worked on projects such as Rock Band and Rock Band video game related products. Wang’s music has been performed throughout US, Hong Kong, England and Taiwan.
